Thanks for sharing this great video! ❤️
Mt Pillchuk is a nice hike too
Hi! First off, thanks for all the recs! Also, can I ask what film camera/filter you use for your pics? They’re beautiful!
❤
Lake of the angels in Olympic Peninsula ! Hike is pretty challenging but once you see the lake and the view.. all the soreness will disappear !
So great video! Thank you, Kelly!!!
Going next month for my birthday… Which of these hikes can I do in December???? 🥺🥺🥺🥺
so im out of shape and im visiting a friend and she wants to do the maple pass loop hike. everyone is saying that its a very hard hike and im second guessing myself. im overweight and dont really work out often
I don’t often watch videos of local places… recognize several favorites here. Great video.
Wow. Thank you so much for this. Hope I can make it happen this year. Bike and hike
been in washington for over 2 decades and only hiked a handful #lame haha anyways salamat po for the video, very helpful. You popped up on my feed as i’m looking for hikes thats a family friendly for my 7 and 15 year old 🙂 and your video helped for sure!
We will be hiking in Mt. Rainier and North Cascades this mid sept. Thanks for the info.
hey, u should come up to check out some hikes in bc. there r lots of amazing trails around vancouver too😁
Amazing video!!!
This really should be called "25 hikes in the Seattle area…" Living in southern Washington, there are some amazing trails here as well.
Wallace Falls is great..one of my favs
Highly recommend lake serene hike its alot of elevation gain if you’re not in good shape it’s a bit rough
Hi Kelly, 👋🏽 the information you shared is definitely helpful. Great content and useful for anyone whether local or visiting Seattle’s many hikes 🏔️ thanks again 🙏🏽
The neighborhood I grew up in was a 20 minute walk from St. Edwards. Beautiful park, would absolutely recommend. If you go during the summer, weekend, or whenever school students are on break, you can park at Arrowhead Elementary which is right next to the park with direct access to the park’s aptly named Arrowhead Trail. No discover pass needed!
Hi Kelly I’ve been in Seattle and I’m enjoying a lot! With your videos I can see much better all the City and all the activities 😊
*not a dog owner* why couldn’t your dog just poop off the trail and just leave it? I understand scooping it up if they go on the trail and cleaning it up, but is it against the hiking rules or something to have someone’s dog poop off the trail and just leave it?
Check out talapus and ollalie, it has narnia vibes, also recommend Taylor Mountain on a clear day!
Nice Job! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
A lot of great content here – both the hikes and the advise. I’ll have to try some of the easier hikes that my knees will allow that I haven’t done yet. To add to your list, another great place to hike in Seattle is Carkeek Park – there is a great little trail system there. Also, a couple of nearby waterfall hikes are Twin Falls & Bridal Veil Falls. This area is just chock full of great places to get outside.
I’m visiting in February & plan on being all over from Blaine, Seattle, down & over to Olympia & up to Neah Bay. Any hikes or must see spots along that route?
There’s a coastal trail I’ve been searching for that I haven’t been able to find!!😭 it’s a trail along a ridge with the ocean to the left of it!! Do you happen to know what it’s called?
when is the ice cave hike/trail easily accessible? will the ice cave still be there/not melted in mid July?
Seattle has turned into a liberal hellhole.
Do you have any tips for hiking with your dog?
I just started following your channel.. love the content Cali to Seattle…but add these to the list of hikes if you haven’t already… Tree of life & Mt. Storm king if you haven’t already been out there best ones during the summer..Also the best spots to Crab is across the water. Welcome to WA 🤟🏽
Why is no one mentioning getting mauled to death by a predator, all you guys are crazy if you think it can’t happen to you.
You have the most comprehensive, genuinely helpful videos I’ve ever seen on YouTube. Subscribed even though I don’t live in Washington XD
So helpful! Would you consider spring mid March? Or would you consider that winter in this context ? Thank you!
Thank you this is very informative!
Incredible! 😎🏔 Hey Kelly! 👋 I work on the video team for a travel company – Follow Alice. We run trips up Everest and Kilimanjaro and many other beautiful places that I’m sure you’d love. We are currently looking for an influencer to do a trip out to Machu Picchu. Would you mind if I emailed you with a few more details?
Speaking as someone who has hiked in Washington for over 40 years, I think you’ve done a great job putting this together. Well done.
We need a new video for the year! Hope you’re well!:)
Thank you for this video. I am planning a solo trip to Washington next year. I have never backpacked so probably won’t do that this trip (will wait till I am ready and try it closer to home first). I of course went back and watched your videos. This has helped me and given me lots to research. 🙂 Looking forward to more of your adventures to inspire me.
This is a great list! Park Butte is hands down my favorite trail – it’s a bit of a drive from Seattle but definitely worth it.
Hi, do have any suggestions for some backpacking hikes that’s still beautiful yet senior friendly , with some knee problems for first time backpackers
very good………
Thanks For the vids Kelly.
Mailbox peek was brutal.. if you are going to do that hike go early, because they lock the gates and we got locked in had to call the park ranger to get us out. But was a really fun hike and hard took about 12 hrs total.
This is great information thank you. I’m going to visit my son in Washington in July and we are planning to go to Mount Rainier.
Great, great video. Thank you for informing possible new hikers on some of the key points of trail etiquette 💯
Great List! If they need hikes closer to seattle West Tiger 1,2, and 3 are located close to poo poo point with great views. If they need a workout the Cable Line Trail to West Tiger 3 is good.
Hi 👋 love this video. What’s a good central place to get an Airbnb to be able to access these hiking spots? Any ideas? Thanks!
What a wonderful video! Our favorite hikes when we visited for a week in a camper van were Maple Pass in the North Cascades, Skyline in Rainier, and Mt. Storm King in Olympic. We also made a website to document our travels! It’s MountainTopMarvels if you want to check it out! Will be watching to see where your next adventures take you!
Do you recommend hiking in Washington in late November?
This was great information and advice! Thank you!
