Today I added a solar street light to my back yard from the company Deepn. This is a super bright light and very easy to install.

Both mine failed. The brackets were too weak for the weight a year later.
how tall is the 4×4 you used and have you had any issues with the wind?
Last for 4 to 6 hours? Or more?
Hey man, great video and clever install, BUT the amazon link doesn’t work anymore. Can you comment the brand/model info? It seems like a good product.
2 questions:
1- After one year, is it still working (Something you don’t expect from Chinese products) and what are your opinions of it in the long run (Are batteries holding as new and charging ever goes zero or not holding right?)
2- Are you legally allowed to use a neighbor’s fence for your own use? And did you get their permission (Courtesy) to put the light next to their windows?

How do you protect the solar panel from the hails?
I would have used 4×6 not the 4×4 post you used, less cutting . Added weight, so also put the post in the ground with some concrete

Nice light…does it have a motion sensor option where it only comes on when some one is near it and then shuts off completely after? Dont want to piss off the neighbors 😮

I bought one and it does not last 8 hours? It will. Last 4 a 1/2 hours at the most. Not that good of a light.

Nice light if you hate your neighbors. Pair that light and some giant pipe wind chimes and a barking dog or rooster and you can sit and wait for the "for sale" to be put up.
Does it stay semi bright the whole night ? Then gets super bright when motion is detected ?

You know how you get robbed you put a light on all the things you have so people can see what you have then when they want what you have they go rob your ass not to mention you’re going to piss your fucking neighbors off and I guarantee there’s light ordinances where you’re at either way if my neighbor did this trust me I can assure you that light wouldn’t be working in a couple days pew pew pew
Bought two of these for my church more than a year ago. One is still good. The other fell down during a storm…the solar panel was shattered.
One is attached to an old flag pole about 12-15′ up and the one that fell was attached to a metal building.
So much easier than running electrical and they did/do a fantastic job of illuminating the parking lot.
