From the state of Louisiana in USA I really like watching your channel. You make me want to get out in the woods. I am blessed with 29 acres of woodland a 7 minute walk from my house and have permission to use it. Keep up the good work. Steve F.
does it feel like soft or can you tell its plastic
Great vid, nothing wrong with plastic bottles, your fleece ( and nearly all others ) is made out of them.
I’m all for re-using and recycling so this looks good. Best way to be ‘green’ is to make your existing kit last. My current bag I’ve had for over 15 years. It’s still good π
Thanks Danπ
Just need the bottle to go out and test it out on the field.
Its quite light for a 3 season bag. If the temp range is reliable it sounds good. π
Hi Dan. The tab by the neck that has two velcro patches is so that you can double it back on itself and stick them together when not in use. It stops the hooked part of the velcro catching on things and picking up fluff. Nice to see you are doing the sensible thing and setting an example to others by staying in. As one of your viewers commented, you can camp in the garden. What do you use in the tent to stay warm in sub zero temperatures?
Thank You English Garden Man.
Did you say how much it cost?
A recent discovery iv’e made is how much more comfy a wide chest area bag is.
I bought a Hyke and Byke brand 85cm chest down bag. This thing is so comfy you forget you’re in a sleeping bag. Feels more like a duvet. Cos you can roll over in it, not with it. Its taken me several decades to figure this out. But it seems size does matter.
But your fleece is also made from plastic bottles!
Hi. I enjoy all of your vids and I’m just wondering what other channels you have other than this one and the adventure foods? Do you still have the magnet fishing channel?
Itβs a new product Iβll wait until you used it on a few camping trips but it looks good the colours are bright it looks well made but like you said could be too small for some people overall itβs looking good great video good information ππβ€οΈ
lockdown doesnt stop you camping out in your garden, private property and your socially distanced. i know its not the same as being out out. and you cant really review anything without using it a few times otherwise its just a first look video. i cant imagine a 300 fill bag keeping you warm down to -1 without sleeping in base layers.
Itβs a good idea. Does it smell like youβve been tango-ed do they do a cola versionπ sorry Dan
You could do a garden camp out. I sit out till late some nights with a fire if the sky is clear and just watch the stars go by. The wood from B an M if its dry doesnβt create to much smoke. The neighbourhood is usually huddled round their television
Keep safe mate π₯
Recycled plastic bottles, interesting , letβs see how it performs
Good for the vegans but I’m going to buy down. Good vid. Thanks and stay safe.
Took a look at their website, if that’s a decent bag, its a great price.
Great video Dan. I’m looking forward to you trying it out. If it’s a way of using recycled bottles, it’s worth a try. Stay safe mate.
Really good seeing these reviews while we are in lockdown
Be a great resource to look back at before going out buying one
Best regards Shaun
Itβs an interesting idea with the recycled bottles aspect. I think the only thing I care about with a sleeping bag is how warm it keeps me-I can put up with lots of other stuff but not being cold! π₯Ά Thanks for bringing this bag to our attention-letβs hope we can get out soon! ππ ATB Karen
Thank you for your review keep them coming π π π¨οΈ
Fleece is made from plastic as well butty…
Thanks for mentioning the width! 78cm width seems to be the bigger average (I’ve seen loads at 65-70) which for me is just waaay too tight. Not sure why more bag makers don’t make wider bags. I’m not the biggest fella in the world either! I found a nice Vango bag at 83cm width but choices are limited.
Steve1989MREinfo is a good ration pack test/taste channel. Does newish and very old ration packs. Maybe worth a look at for format and style.
Chin up pal atleast we’ve had abit more snow π
The mummy model sleeping bags is nonsense in my opinion, we here in Finland easily have -24c frost and I stay very warm in a really wide sleeping bag, it is not that wide sleeping bag in any way hovering around you leaving the air space that would make it cold. Yes that gravity makes sure it goes along with your body but you have room to move and you get to sleep better. Sorry my bad English hope you understutπ ππ
I ked at he site and it seems like some good prices, I’ll look forward to seeing when they start doing tarps and tents π
That looks an amazing bag if it really is a 3 season….looks a bit on the smaller side if it’s 3 season.
Nearly all fleece wear are made from recycled plastic bottles. So in theory this bag should be warm .
I love the idea, but they need to do more earth tone colors.
Interesting concept; the 65l rucksack looks intriguing too.
Thanks for the info on this new company Dan. Looks ok but wait for your test mate. Bushyboy Oz.
Interesting vid pal ππ½βΊοΈπ
Have a look on Military mart they are doing Dutch army ration packs mate for your other channel
Great vid Dan, looks a nice bag, and looking on their website, a reasonable price too. Would like neck baffles and see how that stitching holds up. Cant wait for the vid on the rucksack, that looks interesting. All the best, stay safe, Dave
Sleeping looks a little tight at the top shoulder width wise if your broad shoulder think this will be too small.
Looks nice bag .. get v tent up dan ..
Very interesting video it is worth a try π
Is it waterproof.can you fill with lemonade
