Benefits of Grounding (Earthing)

Benefits of Grounding (Earthing)

This video gives a brief overview of the benefits of grounding- connecting your body to the earth. The greatest benefit is that in comparison to medications, surgeries, physical therapy, orthotic devices, acupuncture, etc… it is totally free! Just go stand outside for a while with your shoes off. Once considered psuedo-science, grounding is emerging as a legitimate science-science whose benefits can not be underestimated.

So what do you think about a grounding matt

  3. @akbuilder7626 on November 8, 2024 at 12:37 pm

I bought a grounding rod and connector for less than $30 at Lowes and I drilled a hole in a corner of my bedroom floor and drove the rod into the ground in the crawl space.
The hole was just big enough so insects cant crawl up around the rod.
I did it this way instead of using the ground in my homes electrical system because I just wanted a clean connection without any possible electrical feedback from the homes wiring.

What about magnetic bracelets n all…. It puts off electrons…. Does that count?

  5. @texasangel517 on November 8, 2024 at 12:38 pm

My husband told me he watched this and sent it to me. So I decided to try putting my bare feet on the ground while sitting in my yard rocker having coffee, getting caught up news, games and social media.
What can you do about winter

This has helped manage my autism a lot better. I’m less stress and getting less paranoid which is a common symptom of autism. Thanks Doctor 🫡 👨‍⚕️

I’d like to get into grounding but do I have to paint my toenails and drink my piss too?

This makes sense to me because we came from the dust, and to the dust we shall return to. ✝️🕊️🙌🏼❤️

If someone lives below power lines, does that affect earthing?

  15. @inmyopinion6836 on November 8, 2024 at 12:50 pm

I bet your graph of shoes to diabetes will parallel directly to a graph of population growth. This said, I have a thick copper plate under my desk and a 1/2" copper rod driven 2 feet into the ground. I sit barefooted at my desk, feet on plate. After 3 months of this my 67-year-old battle worn back and joints have never felt better, I am not diabetic, nor do I want to be, but I don’t know how my liver is benefiting from this.. ????

Serious question: Does grounding mean I need to be on either grass or dirt or can it also be beneficial if I walk on concrete or tile?

  18. @PhotographerSteve on November 8, 2024 at 12:53 pm

    Grounding? No Way!
1-Because it’s available in far too many locations.
2-It’s too inexpensive (cheap) to access.
3-Because individuals & companies cannot package and resell it for a profit.
4-Because it’s not available in travel sizes.
5- Because my partner still can’t find a location in a color to match her skin color.
6-Because I’m unable to find any listing with a toll free 800 phone number and it’s return policy!

Must earthing be done only outdoor? Can I do it inside my house on the ground floor (cos where I come from we don’t have wall to wall carpets nor do we wear shoes indoor at home)?

  20. @kelleystone5835 on November 8, 2024 at 12:54 pm

    Love it❤

  21. @debrawild7604 on November 8, 2024 at 12:55 pm

What kind of Doctor are u?

  23. @WolfmanMack on November 8, 2024 at 12:56 pm

DONE GOUNDING OFF AND ON FOR 10 YEARS AND STUDIED EVERYTHING. THE ORIGINATORS OF "EARTHING", OR GROUNDING DID TESTS THAT SHOW IT TAKES 45 MINUTES FOR ELECTRONS TO AFFECT EVERY CELL IN OUR BODIES. 45 MINUTES TO ELIMINATE INFLAMMATION, THIN OUR BLOOD, AND OTHER BENEFITS. MY INTEREST & SEARCH NOW IS TO SEE ANY EFFECT ON CANCER. AS A BUILDING CONTRACTOR, NEVER USE ANY HOME WIRING (LIKE GROUND WIRE). LIGHTNING STRIKE NEAR HOME WILL KILL U.

  24. @lungkit8867 on November 8, 2024 at 12:57 pm

I bought grounding sheets and used them for two months and they didn’t help my body pain. I went barefoot for two hours a few times but it didn’t help. I was so disappointed.

  25. @jimmy4904 on November 8, 2024 at 12:57 pm

Bruh i am looking for electrical grounding

  26. @ayoungtricknamedjim5498 on November 8, 2024 at 12:58 pm

I’m a little concerned that you suggest buying "barefoot shoes" in the context of being able to ground/earth. Nearly all of them have regular rubber soles. That’s not earthing, it’s the same as wearing regular shoes.

  27. @Stovetopcookie on November 8, 2024 at 12:58 pm

Doo dee due doo. Doo dee sue doo.
    Cue the twilight zone theme.

  28. @mikeharrington5593 on November 8, 2024 at 12:59 pm

Grounding? Phooey? Or just beneficial effects of bare feet flexing the toe muscles/ligaments without the restraints of footwear ?

  29. @LeoNux-um7tg on November 8, 2024 at 1:01 pm

the scary thing about this is getting a tapeworm.

  30. @marksmith5468 on November 8, 2024 at 1:03 pm

  31. @donhtb1 on November 8, 2024 at 1:04 pm

I’m a medical coder. This is unknown great health information and easy. All diseases have inflammation. Earthing kills inflammation

  34. @shawnsweet5557 on November 8, 2024 at 1:09 pm

Thx for the awesome and informative video Dr.!!

  35. @gailgrieco1781 on November 8, 2024 at 1:09 pm

Skin is the largest organ. I have concerns that walking barefoot on lawns which are regularly treated with insecticides, fertilizers, etc… may be more harmful to my body due to possible absorption of these chemicals. What are your thoughts?
Can you get the benefits of earthing walking barefoot in sand?

  36. @ReynaldoVelasquez on November 8, 2024 at 1:10 pm

But all the sticker burrs. I’ll try it out. Not sure if I’m a believer but… out of curiosity… I’ll try it. Been hearing about this for years. But just thought it was stress relief from the new sensations you feel since most people always wear shoes

  37. @ImaRounder on November 8, 2024 at 1:12 pm

My 2nd day of grounding & I stepped right on a bee had to pull him off the bottom of my foot. Be safe out there fellow earthers 😂

  38. @marcindrzal7621 on November 8, 2024 at 1:12 pm

Is earthing with whole body (laying on grass no shirt and no pants) better than just feet? Does larger surface of the body allow more flow of electrons? Logically yes, but can someone break this down? Thanks

  39. @ObiSantalouis on November 8, 2024 at 1:12 pm

Great great…ty very much doc…loving from Philippines…60yo..diabetic filipino

  40. @amylou_2022 on November 8, 2024 at 1:13 pm

Hi. How can one do earthing if they have plantar fasciitis or tendonitis and can’t walk barefoot? Can we get benefit just from grounding mat?

  42. @rushikeshtribhuwan6204 on November 8, 2024 at 1:20 pm

I just wanna say one thing. When i start walking or even stand still on ground barefoot my both nasal paths opens up and i think may be it balances up our both neural hemisphere.

  43. @Home-e1v1h on November 8, 2024 at 1:21 pm

In Summer we could stand outside barefoot but how would we do it it Winter time when we have a couple of feet off snow on the ground? Maybe save A tub if dirt from the store? This is a genuine question.

  44. @erikcaldwell2913 on November 8, 2024 at 1:22 pm

Could it possibly help tinnitus ?

  45. @nancytalamantez684 on November 8, 2024 at 1:23 pm

Ive done this all my life whenever i was feeling toxic…I’d just go outside and lie on the grass. Didnt know why, i was just internally prompted to do it. Does lieing on the grass work the same as standing???

  46. @jaykay7120 on November 8, 2024 at 1:24 pm

Currently laying on a field near me bunnin some Babylon grounding myself 😂 people looking at me like I’m crazy but I don’t care I know how grounding is I really felt inflammation in my joints getting better 💯

  47. @junbin3950 on November 8, 2024 at 1:26 pm

Can someone help? crawling worms & bugs are really yucks to me so I’m paranoid & stressed about grounding. Can I at least get a fresh leaf and put it on the ground then put my feet on the leaf? Or if I use a clay potting pot with holes underneath and fill it with soil then put it on the ground then my feet in that soil in the pot? The soil in the pot will get in contact with the ground so it’s the same thing right?

  48. @hoagied3783 on November 8, 2024 at 1:27 pm

Im open to the science but that shoe/diabetes graph is hilarious nonsense

  49. @Diogenes69Sinope on November 8, 2024 at 1:27 pm

    This is hilarious

  50. @Edwoodb3 on November 8, 2024 at 1:27 pm

I’m usually quite a sceptical guy when it comes to these things. Purely by accident I found myself walking barefooted in the garden. Then I began to notice my energy levels picking up. I was suffering from unbelievable fatigue for over a decade, since I began grounding I’ve been sleeping better and waking up more refreshed. Had you told me this years ago I would have called it codswallop, but the proof is in the pudding.
